<br />
<br />Merging plugins used to be a whole afternoon of work: zMerge, xEdit error hunting, broken scripts, black faces, silent dialogue... MaxMerge does all of it for you.
<br />
<br />It scans your load order, figures out which plugins can safely be merged, reorders them to squeeze out as many merge groups as possible, then builds, relinks and installs the merges. One scan, one click on Auto Sort, one click on Build All. That's it. What used to take hours and a lot of know-how now takes a few minutes, and you don't need to know what a FormID is.

<br />Everything is reversible. MaxMerge never deletes or modifies your original plugins: sources are simply disabled, every file it overwrites is snapshotted first, and there is a Restore button.

- Unzip the archive anywhere (it does NOT go into your game folder)
<br /> - Run MaxMergeDelta.exe — it opens in your browser (DO NOT RUN IT TROUGH YOUR MANAGER AND KEEP IT CLOSED)
<br /> - Pick your mod manager (Mod Organizer 2, Vortex, NMM, or Wrye Bash / manual Data folder), point it to your setup, give it the path to BSArch.exe

Main features
<br />
<br />
- Fully automatic detection — every plugin is analyzed (masters, records, scripts, MCM, SPID/KID configs, archives...) and gets a merge quality score from 0 to 100. Blocked plugins tell you exactly why in the Details panel.
<br /> - Auto Sort — reorders your load order to create the most merge groups possible, without ever placing a plugin before its masters. You watch the merge counter climb and stop it when you're happy.
<br /> - Delta merge engine — this is the big one. Instead of "last plugin wins", MaxMerge compares each conflicting record against the vanilla original. If mod A changes a sword's damage and mod B changes its price, the merge keeps BOTH. Keywords, spells, factions, perks and leveled lists are merged additively. Dialogue lines from all plugins are preserved.
<br /> - Full relink — every other plugin that referenced a merged one is updated automatically (masters, FormIDs, Papyrus script properties, even compiled .pex scripts using GetFormFromFile). No zMerge, no manual xEdit session needed.
<br /> - Assets follow the merge — FaceGen (no black faces), voice files (no silent dialogue), Fallout 4 face textures, .seq files for start-game-enabled quests, Bash Tags for your Bashed Patch.
<br /> - Built-in validation — every merge is checked for broken references before you even launch the game.
<br /> - Snapshots & Restore — one click to go back to the exact state before any build.
<br /> - Supported games — Skyrim SE/AE, Skyrim LE, Skyrim VR, Enderal (+ SE), Fallout 4 (+ VR), Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 3, Tale of Two Wastelands, Oblivion. The engine uses per-game record definitions extracted from the official xEdit sources, so each game is handled with its real format, not a one-size-fits-all approximation.

Requirements

- BSArch (part of xEdit downloads too) — used to look inside BSA/BA2 archives. Just point MaxMerge to the exe.
<br /> - A mod manager is recommended (MO2, Vortex or NMM) but not required — the Wrye Bash / Data folder mode works with manual installs.
<br /> - Optional: MergeMapper if you use SPID/KID/DAR-style frameworks that reference plugins by name.
<br /> - Optional: xEdit, if you like double-checking things. You'll find there is not much left to check.
